More Meth in Mauldin!

I’m getting a little nervous living here. What’s this, the third meth lab found here in the last three months? From Fox Carolina:

MAULDIN, S.C. — Greenville County deputies said that a drug lab was found at a home in the Fern Creek neighborhood on Friday morning.

The lab was found at 10 Nicklaus Drive at about 10:30 a.m.

Officials said that deputies executing a search warrant at the home found a lab used to make methamphetamine in the garage. Crews could be seen removing chemicals and other equipment from the home.

Two people were detained in connection with the lab, but no charges have been filed, deputies said.

That was on Jan. 22. So far there hasn’t been much of an update to this story. But the only update I’m interested in is learning why Mauldin has so many meth labs.
