This is for all those that care to look at this objectively. First thing I want to say that any comments are just opinion. No one knows except for the ones that were there. Dont live in a glass house and throw stones. Addictions are a part of each of us. The majority of the population has some form of addiction. Yes they sometimes bring about bad choices. I think everyone involved here are victims. Victims of severe emotional, physical (sexual) abuse. I know all three of these people. Shane had a rep of controlling, aggressive, narrcistic, and violence towards women in general and even family members. Angela has a rep of substance abuse too. However she has three young children that are being cared for by her parents now. I dont see why anyone would admitt to committing murder, knowing the results if they did not murder. Come on people who does this! And Stacey, Ive known her all her life and she in my opinion is NOT an addict.Stacey has parents, three siblings and many extended family members that love her dearly just like Angela and Shanes family, Were these people all under the influence WHO KNOWS! Wheres the tox reports, hospital records, GPR test, photos ect? Are you considered an addict if you experiment with any type of thing that would impair clear judgement? When will the public get off the drug excuse and be real. This in my opinion NOT a case about drugs. This was about control,manipulation and sex. Where are all these drugs everyone so adamatly states this case was about. I dont think there were anything found to warrant an opinion of “drug deals gone bad” ? These females will have there day in a court room. Stacey has been in and out of foster care for most of her young life. She has a family as well. She has been thrown to the wolves by the media. I dont know what the outcome will be but I do know that there are THREE families whose lives will never be the same. There are THREE families that have been destroyed. I pray for each person involved here right down to the judges. We as humans never know what we will encounter. We never know the other persons thoughts or circumstances. If the circumstances are presented to us are we not all capable of taking a life if we were attacked? You keep kicking a dog eventually it will bite. Dont judge these girls by media hype. We all know that most of what is public knowledge is also not always accurate. Thoughts and prayers go out to these folks. Its not up to us what happens its up to a higher power. Turn right keep straight. Out of the ashes I will rise. Good day

all of you ppl talking crap, dnt need to be. he didn’t do anything to anyone. rob taylor is right about the thing tht he said, he was a loving person. i am his great niece. you ppl act like he was the eorst person in the freaking world, sure, he made some mistakes, but he was slowly getting better. are any of you ppl perfect??? heck no, so dnt act like you are. if you didn’t get close enough to know him, dnt judge him. i bet half of you have problems too. i agree with rob taylor all the way. i lovee you rodney shane babb! you will be missed forever!

I am Sparks, and I feel this is a sad situation for the Babb family. There was no point in this,…I saw this happening if Shane did not clear his path of Stacy Patton. I am more grieved than anyone knows.

Shane was my cousin. He may have not made the best choices in life but he was the most caring person you would have ever met. He loved life and he loved helping people. And your right he would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. Those girls deserve whatever goes there way. Karma is a bitch! R.I.P Shane! I love you and you will always be missed!

I don’t see what all the commotion is about they should give them girls a medal,he was a worthless piece of crap that never did amount to anything and I checked his background he was in prison for a couple of years for cdv in a high and aggrevated nature and had been charged numerous times for beating on girls,he probably would have been in prison alot sooner if it wasn’t for his uncle former chief of police boland.

Ok. My opinion is that we have a drug problem in the area and your nephew’s death is the direct result of our acceptance of drug and addicts as harmless. You knew he in danger, I know all addicts are in danger and until we have a culture that is honest about drug abuse tragedies like this will continue to happen.

Is there some part of that statement that needs “challenging” or our you guys looking to blame me in your time of grief because it’s easier to attack a stranger than process the death of a loved one which was caused not by a convoluted conspiracy (a spurred teen lover magically knew he’s run out of gas and ambushed him)but by addiction on the parts of all the parties involved.

Sans drugs Shane would be alive today, the 26-year-old killer would likely be working somewhere and the 19-year-old would be in college. You disagree with this?
