Bobby Lee Peoples Jr Faces Bigamy Charge

You’ve heard the saying that life imitates art?  Well, in upstate South Carolina, life has been imitating a cheesy Lifetime movie.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office has charged Bobby Lee Peoples Jr of Greenville with bigamy after verifying that he was living a double life with two area women.  WYFF4 reports:

Bobby Lee Peoples Jr, accused bigamistDeputies said Yayoi Kin Peoples, 33, called and said that she had received a text in October from someone trying to reach her 34-year-old husband, Bobby Lee Peoples Jr. When she inquired who was trying to get a hold of her husband, the person replied that she was Peoples’ wife, Brandy Taylor.

Deputies said they determined that Peoples had married Yayoi Kin Peoples in February 2005 and had also married Brandy Taylor, who lives in Greenville, in Asheville, N.C. on Oct. 15.

Ms. Taylor told News Channel 7 that her supposed husband pretended he was attending a Florida homeland security school, but it is now clear he was living in Roebuck with his first wife, Yayoi Kin Peoples.

Bobby Lee Peoples Jr was released from the Spartanburg County Detention Center after posting bond.

Well seeing how you was not apart of this situation and k now nothing about what you are talking about its funny how you can think it is hilarious, lets see if this had happened to you would you feel that it was so funny the other woman and I knew nothing of eachother, and it was not just the other woman and myself that got hurt in this situation it also have two small girls that was envolved and hurt by the careless choices that this man made he adopted them while he and i was together. We had been living together for 2 years and i never even imagined that he could do such a thing.. So put yourself in someone elses shoes before you think it is so funny and see how you would feel if you lived a life of lies with someone you loved with your whole heart.

I doubt you had know idea. I’ve been with my wife 21 years now (I’m 39) and we didn’t get married until we dated for ten years. We didn’t live together until after we were married.

You need to get to know people before you invest yourself – and your children – in them. No one can really hide their true nature, they just know most people aren’t willing to look,.
