California Gives Man Seen Raping Dog Probation

And he has a history of raping dogs and other abuses of animals. But hey, it’s California. Live and let live!

From WSBT:

LOS ANGELES — A 62-year-old man has been convicted of having sex with a dog he adopted from an animal shelter.

Wade Strickland was arrested by the police Animal Cruelty Task Force on Feb. 2 after he was seen sexually violating the female German shepherd mix beneath a freeway overpass.

On Tuesday, Strickland pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and lewd conduct and was placed on three years’ probation.

The City Attorney’s office says Strickland has adopted shelter dogs in south Los Angeles in the past and was reported for mistreating the animals.

Witnesses were willing to testify in the latest incident.

Along with probation, the judge prohibited Strickland from owning or possessing any animals.

He must also submit to law enforcement searches at any time and attend 24 animal care counseling sessions.

He just needs counseling, not horse whipping. This is a man who raped a dog in public. There were multiple witnesses. What the hell do you have to do to get jail time in that state?

For once, I agree with you Rob. Monsters like that need to be locked up.

You have to brutally rape and murder someone… but they’ll only count the murder charge, not the brutal rape. Because rape is not that bad a crime, apparently. I mean, hell, a guy is caught raping a toddler and the best they can muster is a slap on the wrist.

    That state is collapsing.

California R.I.P. Don’t forget to thank all the Boomers who slashed their own taxes while gutting services for the younger generations. And those who stuffed the prisons so full of nonviolent (such as drug and other vice) offenders that there is no room for the violent ones, resulting in early releases and ligther sentences. And those who oppose concealed carry. And all the fools who voted no on Prop 19, which might have actually saved the state financially.

No worries about the language, you’re completely right. It’s beyond perverse to rape an animal, it’s evil.
