“Officers responded to Haywood Pointe Apartments, late Tuesday night to a report of a suspicious white male. The victim says he was wearing a gray hoodie and black cap. No suspects were arrested.”

What else can you say? This guy seems to live in this complex or very nearby.Striking twice in a very short period of time seems ballsy. I’m assuming the apartment management is stepping up its security warnings and procedures. I mean what are you going to do…run the guy down, chase him for looking in your window. Ew yuck no thanks. It’s just plain creepy and scary at the same time. He’s obviously getting a kick out of the attention. Let’s name him shall we? Too Nuts Tommy? Gutsy Gus. Share yours in the comment section.

I said that although most people thought this was OWS related (and it probably is) I put my money on a radical Muslim or radical Green. Germany has large radicalized Turkish Muslim populations and pro Al-Qaeda converts, and Canada has a thriving radical Muslim population. Since this German’s name hasn’t been released there’s a 50/50 chance it’s Mohammed Al-douche or whatever.

On the other hand someone sent me a picture of the guy. A fat, balding 20-something with a greasy ponytail and a smug look on his face screams green movement. Looks like the odds are in my favor but I’m still willing to take bets.

Police say they’re not sure if he’s the arsonist, but I’m betting they do know but they’re looking for his partners.

Occupy defenders will say that at least this time a lawyer representing the group called the cops. People with brains will note that the cops were called well after police knew the two were in the NY/NJ area. We also note that the 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl were allowed to sleep at the camp with the adults. Word on the street is that the hospital visit for the runaways was detox:

MYFOXNY.COM – Two young runaways from Massachusetts were found living with Occupy Newark Protesters in Military Park. The Newark, N.J. police department was alerted to the 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl by a lawyer for the protest group.

The pair arrived at Military park on Sunday and camped overnight with protesters.  The teens reportedly ran away from their homes during the early morning hours on December 4, 2011 and made their way to Newark.

Connor Southard and Laura Dixon, who appeared to be unharmed, were transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

Social workers responded to the hospital to interview the children and coordinate efforts with the police as well as authorities from Massachusetts.  Their parents have been notified about their safety.

Cameras captured the teens at South Station in Boston when they ran away, giving officials a lead that the teens were heading towards New York City.

The article has a picture of the kids so you can see there is not a chance in hell anyone mistook them for adults.

Again I ask, what kind of movement is populated by a bunch of people who want do drugs around teen runaways? Maybe Occupy Newark could answer that. I contacted them while writing this but got no response.

SAN DIEGO (CBS) — A pair of Southland street cart vendors who were forced to shut down their businesses after “Occupy” protesters vandalized their carts are hoping to get some help from local residents.

The coffee and hot dog carts were located in Civic Center Plaza, the same location as the Occupy San Diego protesters.

That group first settled in to the plaza Oct. 7 and set up a tent city which has since twice been taken down by police.

Coffee cart owner Linda Jenson and hot dog cart operators Letty and Pete Soto said they initially provided free food and drink to demonstrators, but when they stopped, the protesters became violent.

And according to one city councilman, bodily fluids were used in the attacks.

“Both carts have had items stolen, have had their covers vandalized with markings and graffiti, as well as one of the carts had urine and blood splattered on it,” said Councilman Carl DeMaio.

The damages will likely require at least a complete cleaning if not a replacement of the cart covers, DeMaio said.

In addition to the attacks, the vendors also said they recently received death threats.

So unless people provide them with free stuff they will murder people? Sounds like they truly are the 99% … of felons. Here’s video of Letty Soto (among others) begging the authorities to save her from these thugs. She needed police protection to appear in public:

And people were very outraged when I carelessly threw around the word stripper to describe some of the people who may frequent bars that stay open to until 5:00am:

Before any emails or comments come in let me set the record straight by saying I much prefer skanks and strippers to the rest of the people who hang around bars. At least their honest about who they are and I support their right to do as they please as long as they’re not involved in breaking the law.

Hailee’s was involved in breaking the law however. Just recently their manager – who is a 23-year-old girl – was arrested for breaking the new alcohol ordinance. She apparently told cops that the new law didn’t apply to the mighty Hailee’s, which is why you should probably hire people with a bit more life experience to be the manager of your bar:

Early this morning, the Mauldin Police Department arrested two employees at Hailee’s Sports Bar and Grill and charged them with violating the city’s alcohol ordinance. The ordinance states that no alcohol can be served after 2 a.m.

One of the employees was the establishment’s manager, Elizabeth Fultz, 23, who also had been cited on Sunday morning. On Tuesday morning at about 3 a.m., Fultz and another employee, Miles Nork, 25, were arrested and remanded to the Greenville County Detention Center.

Last week, Hailee’s injunction against the ordinance was denied in Circuit Court. According to Police Chief Bryan Turner his department contacted establishments in the city that would be affected by the new law now that it was about to be enforced. Hailee’s was among those contacted.

On Sunday morning, the aforementioned manager and a patron were cited for violating the ordinance.

Turner said that employees of Hailee’s denied that the ordinance applied to them when officers informed them of violations.

“In my opinion, these incidents show that the management of Hailee’s has no interest in cooperating with the enforcement of the ordinance,” Turner said.

Indeed. But how much cooperation do you expect from people who work in a bar whose business model relies on staying open until five in the morning? Hailee’s had their business license revoked a few days ago and frankly Mauldin was right to do so. And before you defend Hailee’s here is a comment someone who claimed to work at the bar left on my controversial post:

Wow. So coming across this was a pure accident and I wish for the life of me that I hadn’t. I used to work at Hailee’s and I’ll be the first to tell you that it is…by no means…one of the nicer bars in Greenville. And while its true that strippers and drug dealers and Just shady folks in general do patron the place, there are a few people who frequent there that many consider to be a benefit to society. I too know the individuals that were the victims of this crime. One really was just an innocent bystander and was not involved in the “bar fight” in any way shape or form. He currently has four…yes FOUR…holes in his leg. The bar fight was a drug deal gone wrong from another bar. The other two shooting victims don’t conduct their business at Hailee’s and were just trying to hang out and enjoy themselves. The man who committed the crime was actually called a cab but he refused to take it. And by the way, drunk people do suck. They make a complete fool of themselves, make horrendous messes that I have to then clean up, and on occasion do drive home drunk and even kill people. A friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver almost a month ago. So yeah drunk people, or should I say the results of their actions, suck. Go out with friends, have a good time, have a couple of drinks…But please please use self control and think about how your actions may affect an innocent person.

What a great place. It’s truly sad I won”t be able to go there and sit down for a drink with a drug dealer while tucking tips into the cleavage of a non-stripper.

We should bust the ILWU. I will do no business with anyone who uses them.

Which stands for urinating in public. When Gamecock quarterback coach G.A. Mangus doesn’t just say “Go Cocks”- he lives it.

South Carolina quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus was arrested in Greenville, SC, early Tuesday morning, when he was observed by police urinating in public.

Citing a police report, Go Gamecocks reported that two officers in an unmarked police car “observed Mangus facing Main St. urinating on the street curb and roadway.”

The report said that police then took him into custody after he smelled of alcohol and couldn’t give them coherent answers.

Brett McMurphy of CBSSports.com is reporting that Mangus has been suspended indefinitely for the arrest.

Apparently one of the quarterbacks has been in trouble for drinking too. I take it South Carolina is a party school.

Thus, this is apparently not a surprise:

One man is dead and another man is charged with murder after a stabbing at a Greenville County bar early Saturday morning.

Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office went to the Hideaway Bar, 2726 Wade Hampton Blvd., at about 4 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing victim, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

At the scene, deputies located the victim, 26-year-old Jacob Taylor. He was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Taylor was involved in a physical altercation with another man in the parking lot prior to the stabbing, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday in order to determine the cause of death.

Deputies said Donald Happe, 21, turned himself in Saturday evening. He was charged with murder.

Of course I’ve never been (and will never go) there so my information is second hand on this. Frankly most bars are bad news – stay out of them. Keep the family of Jacob Taylor in your prayers.
