The Independent Mail is reporting that the 28-year-old Pearson, who is still recovering from being shot in the arm and stomach, has been charged with murder. Ladies if your man has hit you, he will do worse. Leave before it’s too late.

I have gotten a few emails via the contact form from people (who for the most part claim to be women) claiming I’m being too rough on rapists, child rapists, flashers, public masturbaters and all the other assorted sexual deviants that make up the wild and woolly world of sex offenders. I am not interested in what the “ladies” (guttersluts) who carry water for people who’ve sodomized infants thin. Nor do I have any patience for some obese skank who wants to tell me that said infant sodomizer is a “good man” with a “kind heart” who just “made a mistake” that he deserves forgiveness for.

The most recent letter I got was from a woman who has contacted me before. A tedious woman, she has been beating the decomposing horse of an argument that logic had taken out and shot years ago, namely that I should be covering only “local” crime news and thus caring about online activity designed to support the abuse of children isn’t my business. These letters came in reaction to a piece I wrote about a pro-child rape group called SOSEN whose chief operating officer (who goes by the name “Randy English”) recently claimed that sex offender lists were racism … because Jessica Lundsford was White and people who hate child molesters are xenophobes. It was an asinine point and because SOSEN is a national organization whose activities are of concern to any parent I blogged about it.

“Susie Mae” was not happy and wrote me about it. I was, as usual, cordial and charming and sought to brush her off without acrimony. Which I thought worked until a few minutes ago when I received this email in all caps and three times the normal font size. I guess she was really mad:

It just seems you are gunning for sex offenders as a group. The sex registry is huge. It is full of all kinds of people, many of whom hardly did a thing. Urinated in public, teenagers having sex, etc…. I don’t know anything about this Randy but it just seems your site should be to report local crime.

I’m tired of these canards and I don’t want to hear them. In the future, before you decide to “school me” about how unfair it is that your man is locked up for “a misunderstanding” in which he was caught with pictures of children being raped, please read my response to Susie Mae. While the details may change, I assure you that the spirit of my answer to you will be the same:

Name three people on the registry for urinating in public. Name three teens on the registry for having sex. You’re either a retard who believes the most asinine of lies or (more likely) you’re one of the guttersluts that groupie around for sex offenders, no doubt giving them easy access to your children.

You want to know who’s in Sosen darlin’? Here’s a quick list:

Shirley Lowery- The CEO of Sosen. She maintains that 9-year-old Jessica Lundsford had a “consensual relationship” with John Coey and that her vicious murder was an “assisted suicide”

Clay Keys – A Level 3 sex offender who once threatened to kill me. At the same time he lurked on social networks pretending to be a little girl and cyber stalked several activists.

Linda Pehrson – who is still married to the man who molested her daughter, and now claims the crime is no big deal. She’s also a con artist who uses assumed identities to give interviews and drum up support for her groups.

Jackie Sparling – Her husband was caught with another man trying to lure a 13-year-old to his home to become his sex slave, which included a plan to have her squeeze out children he would also abuse. Despite the fact that it would be impossible for a wife to not know he was planning this she was never charged and continues to work to promote the idea that crimes like his never happen.

The list goes on. Most are themselves people who have raped children and are now involved in a group that works to keep them from reforming. You don’t care because like the scum above you’re all tickled inside by the thought of bedding down one of these miscreants, but decent people do care.

How about this; Stop contacting me. If all you have to say is sex offenders are awesome and we should feel sorry for them you’re not going to find a sympathetic ear here. Why don’t we end this charade and you stop contacting me and I promise that if I ever meet a person who’s sodomized a child and needs a lap dance I’ll let you know.

One of the reasons I include so many women in my list above is to point out to you child rape groupies that I know what kind of person you are. There is no comparison to how sex offenders are treated and how Blacks were treated during Jim Crow, or how Jews were treated in Europe or whatever other kind of offensive nonsense you’re vomiting out between letting these perverts gag you while holding onto the pig tails they make you put in your hair.

I’m not interested. There is no debate as to whether people who rape children are evil. There is no possibility that a person who pleasures themselves to images of children being abused is being misunderstood. There is a right and a wrong here.

People who sexually exploit and abuse children have recidivism rates near 50% when they’re being watched. Registries are important tools for daycare centers, teen programs, single parents and any other person who has children to use to ensure they’re making the right choices for their kids. Violent felons aren’t allowed to own guns, they are on a registry. People with a history of DUI aren’t allowed to drive, they are on a registry. And people who abuse and exploit others for their own selfish sexual gratification aren’t allowed to become teachers or camp counselors.

They’re on a registry where they belong.

I don’t care how awesome you think your boyfriend or husband is. If he’s raped someone or molested someone he will not get sympathy from me, because I have morals. I save my sympathy for the victims, not the victimizers.

So before you bother to contact me, remember that I only care about the victims. Whatever sob story you’re peddling won’t change that.

One person was arrested and two teenagers were detained after scattered fights broke out near Falls Park on Saturday night in downtown Greenville.

A squad of 15 to 20 police officers brought the crowd under control near 11 p.m.

The two teenagers were detained shortly after the 10 p.m. curfew, when anyone younger than 18 and unaccompanied by an adult must be off the streets in the downtown area.

Greenville Police Lt. Mike Hudson said one woman was arrested.

Hudson said he ordered every officer who “wasn’t on a (911) call” into the area.

15-20 officers aren’t needed to “bring a crowd under control” due to “scattered fights” and a few rowdies in a downtown don’t usually prompt whoever is in charge that evening to order every cop not dealing with an emergency to flood an area. Sorry Mr. Walton, but I’m thinking this incident was more serious than you’re making it out to be.

Being a homebody I’m rarely downtown these days, but I’m told that there’s a rough element out and about. Falls Park is popular at night for both the atmosphere and the drugs. The plaza next to Spill the Beans is known to be a “corner” for dealers and the park itself provides plenty of unlit areas where kids like to get high among other things. Parents are apparently still in the habit of dropping off their spoiled brats with a wad of cash in the downtown on the weekends, and frankly we should be charging them for the damage those kids are causing.

At the very least the parents of the children involved should be forced to pay for the hours our police weren’t able to deal with other crimes while babysitting their ill-spawn brood.

Sam Young, 16, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and criminal sexual conduct Wednesday morning in a Greenville courtroom.

The judge accepted a recommendation of 25 years in prison during the sentencing phase of the hearing.

Nearly 40 members of Dymia Woody’s family were present. A News Channel 7 reporter spoke to some family members. They said they were displeased with the length of the sentence for Young and felt it should be longer.

The family is right. I wonder how long Young would have got if Dymia was White.

WYFF in typical hug-a-thug fashion, manages to place the blame for this crime on porn, with the help of a hack child psychologist. Note to the delicate flowers at WYFF – ALL teens look at porn, very few rape children to death afterward. The two are not related. Let’s not disrespect the dead by minimizing the evil of a murderer.

Alex Knepper has inexplicably become something of a cause célèbre on the right. He’s widely considered to be some sort of provocateur, targeting the excess of feminism, and was widely defended by the right when he wrote a misogynistic screed about date rape in a college newspaper. This was largely a knee-jerk reaction to Knepper claiming to be a righty being “attacked” by out of control college feminists.

Which was untrue. Knepper, in essence, claimed date rape was lie, that if a woman was raped by someone she was drinking with she was not only to blame but she wasn’t even a victim.

But rehashing that nonsense isn’t necessary. NewsReal Blog and the Frum Forum both employ Knepper as a content producer, and his association with the latter should have been enough to cause the right to scrutinize Knepper more closely. While I don’t read the Frum Forum myself (he’s a cut rate Kathleen Parker at best), I do follow Newsreal Blog because my wife is NewsReal’s own Jenn Q. Public. She had a powerful piece up on Newsreal not long after that controversy which was a response to yet another “provocation” by Knepper where he lambasted rape survivors for “debasing” the term survivor.

Knepper’s reaction was this piece of pro-rape agi-prop that should have ended the debate as to whether Knepper hated women once and for all. Read this and weep at what cretins like David Frum and whoever handles Knepper at NewsReal thinks is intellectual debate. Here’s Knepper’s response to arguments that women die at the hands of rapists all the time making the term survivor is legitimate:

Characteristic to plane crashes, car crashes, house fires, cancer, and other things that people die from: people die from them. David’s example, Ted Bundy, illustrates my point: he was not only a rapist, but a murderer. We would say that someone survived Bundy’s brand of aggression because he was a killer. But it is impossible not  to survive a non-lethal act. Women die at the hands of rapists, but the rape is coincidental to the fact that they could have died. Women die at the hands of vegetarians, zookeepers, and Deadheads, too — but when evaluating whether one “survived” an act, we have to look at whether they may not have come out alive. All else being held equal, rape is not that kind of experience: it is simply not looking at death in the eye. It is undoubtedly a horrific experience, of course — but it is a particular kind of horror: one of violation, of total loss of physical and sexual control. It is manifestly different than, say, a house fire, or suffering in a concentration camp.

If it sounds a little to you like there’s a disturbing pattern developing you’re correct. Knepper, who is openly gay, tends to write pieces about women’s sexual victimization which fetishize male dominance over a submissive partner while painting women as hysterical, malicious partners in their own abuse, all too eager to be raped so that they can lord their victimization over others. Rape isn’t a “loss of physical and sexual control,” it is a brutal assault by a sadist whose sexual gratification is achieved through pain, degradation and humiliation. Knepper’s definition of rape is more like a visit to a bondage club in the meat packing district than a crime.

Knepper suffers from what I like to call the Tennessee Williams Syndrome. That’s where an author’s own antipathy toward women in general (and in his case feminists in particular) causes him to characterize women as two dimensional objects that simply cause problems, and fetishize their abuse by men. Knepper and I got into it on that piece in the comments and David Swindle, who runs the site, threatened to ban me for hurting poor Alex’s feelings.

The feelings of people who have been raped were never considered.

I don’t blog politics anymore unless it relates in some way to crime, so I have been ignoring Knepper’s rantings. However someone sent me his most recent piece where he responds to the recent Supreme Court ruling on civil commitments of sex offenders. Unsurprisingly, Knepper is against it. Also unsurprisingly, he’s completely sympathetic to rapists and child molesters:

Our post-Cold War bogeyman is the child molester. He manifests himself in the daily scare segment on the Today Show; in macabre, hyperbolic convolutions by Oprah, and in NBC’s (in)famous To Catch a Predator. He is a sociopath, he is mentally disturbed, and he is about to break into your house, rape your child, and bury her alive in a shallow grave. And worst of all: he is the mass-man — he lives among us.

Recent scholarship — mostly by women, men are petrified by the stigma surrounding sexual controversies — has started shooting holes into this TV-ready outrage, perpetuated by demagogues like Bill O’Reilly and Nancy Grace. Women like Vanessa Place and Susan Clancy have bravely stood up against the mob to demand that common sense be restored to its rightful place. More recently, one of the lynch mob’s leaders, Martha Coakley — who, in an attempt to look “tough on crime,” kept a man falsely accused of “Satanic child rape” in prison — was denied access to the halls of the Senate. But these are drops in an ocean of manufactured outrage. On the whole, the mob has seized control of our discourse.

The result of this moral panic is that sex offenders of any kind — whether a stranger-rapist, child molester, someone who was peeking at kiddie porn, or even someone who had sex with a fourteen-year-old at the age of nineteen — are being denied their basic civil rights and liberties. Laws restricting the right of sex offenders to buy homes — since some neighboring homes will have children, after all! — have become so draconian in the city of Miami that they are forced to live under bridges after being released from prison. But which politician will speak up for sex offenders? Except to say that our laws aren’t “tough enough,” of course.

Oh, the poor rapist/child molester. Why can’t we look past his brutal sodomy of a 9-year-old and give him a break? As an aside, I will point out that given that Knepper is in college, his 19- and 14-year-old thing at the end there raises my eyebrow. I’ll point out as well that some douche in college looking to nail a high school freshman deserves to be on the registry.

But beyond that, we see yet again Knepper fetishizing rapists. Now they’re oppressed and misunderstood. Next I suppose they’ll be a sexual minority and Knepper will insist we call rapists “rough-sex-o-sexuals” and claim child rape is part of “youth liberation” the way NAMBLA did all those years ago.

If this all sounds familiar it’s because literally everything Alex Knepper has written comes directly from the online pro-sex offender movement. What’s that? Never heard of them? You have actually. Whenever you see some weirdo in the comments of a news story about a rape or child molestation claiming that women lie all the time or sex offenders have low recidivism rates (both lies by the way), you’ve run across the “pedo militia” run by groups like SOSEN and ROAR for Freedom.

Both of these groups are “activist” groups formed online for the sole purpose of promoting the view that sex offenders are being unfairly persecuted. Both are also groups comprised almost entirely of registered sex offenders. The few people who aren’t RSOs are the wives and girlfriends of RSOs, some of whom allowed their husbands and boyfriends to molest their own children and many, like Knepper, fetishize abusers and attack victims. Here’s a quote from the former CEO of SOSEN Shirly Lowrey about Jessica Lundsford’s rape and murder:

Jessica was not tortured and her death comes across more as an assisted suicide than a murder. There were no drugs or alcohol in her system and only her wrists were bound. She had not strained to try and free her arms. She could have easily kicked through the plastic bags but she did not. There were no tears, rips or even stretch marks. It looks as if she stepped into the bags of her own accord, squatted down and waited for death. There was no hand stretching upward as if asking foe [sic] help.

Depraved? Certainly. More depraved than Knepper’s assertions that drunk women can’t be raped or that rape victims are “debasing” the term survivor? I don’t think so. In fact, the sentiments sound quite similar to me.

Everything Knepper just vomited out in his lament about the plight of the child rapists in this country has been written before. You can find it on pro-child rape forums like Boychat and Girlchat. On pro-child rape propaganda sites like Newgon. And from the writings of sex offenders and their advocates themselves. How is it that Knepper’s words and theories on sexual abuse so closely mirror that of the most depraved amongst us?

But more to the point, how is it that NewsReal blog continues to accept this madness? Alex Knepper, perhaps unwittingly, is propagandizing for the most evil movement in our country today. The “sex offender law reform” groups have been proven time and again to be nothing but pro-child rape, pro-sex-crime cults where individuals are enabled and encouraged to re-offend. Blogs like Absolute Zero United cover this extensively and anyone wanting to see how widespread and active this movement is should go there and prepare to be shocked.

There’s a phrase that (rightfully perhaps) has fallen out of favor but I always liked the sound of it when I read it in some dusty tome. Synagogue of Satan. The pro-sex offender movement is most aptly described that way: a synagogue of Satan spreading their filth and perfidy in an attempt to corrupt the very moral fabric of society. NewsReal Blog, with its focus on Islamism, radical leftism, and all the other “isms” that are seen by we on the right as tearing away at the fabric of society is the last place one would expect to find a safe harbor for the basest immorality, the idea that rape is essentially harmless and our concern should be for rapists rather than rape victims. Why would any decent person publish this?

Why would they allow, and indeed in some cases demand, that these horrible ideas (which if adopted by people will lead to even more horrible acts) to be sheltered from the scorn and derision they deserve?

It’s easy to get lost in Knepper’s rape fetishism and forget that the real problem with his writings is that he’s acting on behalf of degenerates as a preemptive apologist for their criminality. Knepper’s works are designed to minimize rape and molestation and create support for rapists and molesters. He is indeed, outside of groups like SOSEN, a degenerate’s best friend. Don’t think they don’t recognize this, and they are some of his most ardent supporters.

Which just shows that you can judge people by the company they keep. So why are we keeping company with Alex Knepper?

Update: Victory! Newsreal seems has taken Knepper’s new piece down. Now let’s hope they stop letting him post this drivel.

It seems cut and dried. Three gunmen shot down by potential victims who didn’t know if the trio would or wouldn’t kill them. In South Carolina this type of shooting is justified.

The family of Davidson, grieving and perhaps deserving of our condolences if not sympathy, have started to claim that their son was shot in the back, and that he “didn’t need to die” in an indictment of the clerks. At the risk of receiving another C&D letter from WYFF, read this little section of their report which is titled Family of Teen Shot, Killed Seeks Answers:

“I just want to see justice for my cousin. He was shot down like a dog,” said Alex Davidson.

“From what I’m getting, they was running. They was leaving the store; running out of the store,” said the teen’s uncle and namesake, Michael Davidson. “So I mean, if they was running out of the store, why would you shoot them in the back?”

Several family members said they had heard that Davidson and the other two teens had been shot in the back.

Problem is that isn’t true. WYFF itself reports that the coroner is saying the teen was shot in the chest not the back. He was facing the people who shot him. Of course, no where in this interview where the Davidson family is allowed to weave a conspiracy theory does the reporter ask the proper questions.

Why was a 16-year-old out at 3:00 in the morning with a gun? Why was he robbing stores? Was he in trouble before?

I understand the sensitivity needed to deal with a grieving family, but their son was robbing a store at gunpoint. The “answers” to why he was shot and killed are right there but the reporter allowed the family to use their outlet to claim the robber was a victim of some trigger happy lunatic. This is rotten reporting at best, but in reality it was WYFF playing accomplice to an attempt to create animosity among the Black community by using loaded metaphors like Davidson being shot down like an animal.

There is clearly a political bias at work here, and attempt even when the facts were obvious make this a story that fits into a class/race warfare paradigm where evil, racist clerks at a store shoot some innocent kid. The problem is the kid was already an armed robber. How did they know he wasn’t a soon to be murderer?

WYFF rightfully keeps personal judgments out of reporting on Davidson, but the people Davidson robbed and terrorized at gunpoint don’t get the same consideration. Why?

Bacteria and viruses are spread through contact.  This means that you can contract a genital disease by shaking an infected person’s hand and then touching your genitals.  You people need to think before you go on your tirades to destroy and kill people.  People get genital warts and gonorrhea without sexual contact all the time.  That’s fact.  Think. Learn. Breathe.

So this person’s theory is that a toddler shock hands with a guy whose gonorrhea was leaking out his fingertips, then the little girl rubbed her magical hand gonorrhea on her genitals, possibly while changing her own diaper.

The worst part about this is that no one in the comments challenged this nonsense and this is not the first time I’ve heard this theory. What are people learning in schools that makes them think it’s possible to get the clap from shaking hands?

If I had a kid I wouldn’t want to find out. Home school them before some teacher tells them they can be vaccinated against car accidents.

We all know some cretin who uses some pop-culture psycho-babble to explain away their douchebaggery. Your pot-smoking basement dweller friend says he has “Aspergers syndrome” so they can’t find a job or thank you for the $40 you loaned them or the unpleasant, fat woman at your job suffers “low self-esteem” which can only be treated with addicting prescription drugs and you embracing adipositivity.

Of course anyone of moderate intelligence who has run into these types of people know almost immediately that the real problems all of them have is lack of morals, lack of character and often enough drug o alcohol problems. This is usually combined with laziness and a sense of entitlement which work hand in hand ensure the person never takes responsibility of their own life or problems.

Unfortunately we live in a culture that not only encourages this sort nonsense, but institutionalizes it. We send addicts and drunks to rehab instead of jail, we medicate children instead of disciplining them and we send people who need their asses kicked to anger management classes. This brings me to Chrissy Gail Greene.

This slattern is 30-years-old and was sentenced to anger management classes after a domestic violence charge on or about April 30th. Now just a few short weeks later Chrissy is in trouble again for a brutal and vicious attack on her ex-husband. From WSPA:

The arrest warrant says Green struck the victim in the head with a hammer and in the body with a metal tricycle and threatened to shoot him.

Greene and her brother went to the victim’s home in Inman around 8:00pm. on April 20 with her brother according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office incident report. Greene was intoxicated according to the report.

The victim says after being attacked by his estranged wife, she began to smash windows and doors at the home. The front storm door “had been shattered” according to the deputy.

A witness says Greene drove away from the scene with her brother, who “tried to stop Chrissy from attacking” the victim.

If she has an “anger management problem” why was the brother driving her to her ex-husband’s house while she was drunk? And why the getaway? It sounds to me more like Chrissy and her rotten brother are a couple of pieces of trash who run around causing trouble because they think nothing will happen to them. Nowadays there is some fancy term for it I’m sure, but my Grandmother used to call this a matter of “no home training” which was a euphemism for a child who was spoiled and never spanked. I’m not a spanking advocate, but in this cases it’s clear that this person has never experienced consequences for her attacks on others that would make her re-think roughing up people. A spanking as a child may have helped in that respect.

Anger management classes will not.

I will bet you good money that Chrissy and her clan of Jerry Springer guests can control their anger just fine when someone gets ready to lay a heavy hand on them. A person with an anger management problem used to be called a bully and though the terms may change the prescription for them remains the same. The lady friend of her ex should have pepper sprayed her then laid the boots on her until the cops came. I bet you after that Chrissy Gail Greene’s anger management problem would magically disappear, at least in regards to the couple she’s currently targeting.

People treat you the way you let them treat you, and the Chrissy Gail Greenes of the world can’t be cured by therapy because they aren’t sick. They’re just degenerates and should be treated like the animals they tend to act like. Let’s put her in a cage where she belongs, and stop pretending we can fix folks who are just bad people.

This May Day saw scenes of violence across the country and the globe.

And even after reporting that Denver Anarchist group Black Cross called the rioters, who were clearly participating in a Black Bloc protest, comrades WYFF claims a motive is not known for the mayhem. The motive for the protesters is easy to divine, spoiled rich kids radicalized in college have little else to do with their time and were raised to feel entitled to “expressing” themselves in any way they see fit. Their motive is to destroy things because they like doing it and use Anarchism and Socialism as a justification for what is essentially misanthropy fueled by elitism.

What’s more interesting is the motive of people who bend over backwards to avoid pointing out this truth. These kids are criminals, many are drug users, and every May Day they will gather in large numbers for drug fueled orgies of violence which have absentee parenting and a culture that artificially inflates self-esteem as their root causes.

The notoriously liberal residents of Asheville are confused as to why they were targeted since they “aren’t corporate” as one woman in the WYFF video report puts it. Again, that’s easy to answer. You encourage these “radicals” to flock to your town, get high on your streets, and then present yourselves as passive targets who will not only be unlikely to fight back, but will side with the criminals against police. This is like people who put bells on their cats complaining that the coyotes kill their pets. Stop being a doormat and people will stop walking all over you.

The Asheville Citizen-Times has a good report on the escalating violence of May Day. Maybe WYFF should send a reporter over there to see what the motive of anarchists rioting on May Day could possibly be.

I’m surprised this didn’t happen in Greenville.

Police have arrested a 23-year-old thug named Tremain Orlando Davis for the crime. But an interesting thing happened to this story when the local media got to it. The narrative changed to subtly (and in some cases not so subtly) imply that Joshua Bryant brought his death on himself by being unreasonable, and that compliance with criminals is not only to be expected but is indeed what civilized people should do.

Compliance with criminality doesn’t work. One need only ask those who survived encounters with Ted Bundy what saved them and they will tell you clearly that they fought for their lives; those who didn’t were raped and murdered. What did compliance with gunmen get Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom? What did compliance with gunmen get the victims of the Wichita Massacre?

Those are questions, and cases, the media doesn’t deal with mainly because the mainstream media deals in illusion, not reality. The news media is populated with people who see the world through a post-modernist lens; class and race warfare colored glasses that alter their very perceptions of reality and truth. Thus the average reporter runs into this story of tragic heroism and condescendingly frames it as suicide by crook by one of the rubes they need to buy their papers but have no respect for.

For example here’s how Fox Carolina describes the death of Joshua Bryant:

Deputies said that shortly after that, Bryant saw a man wearing a bandanna and carrying a gun walk into the store. They said that Bryant went in after him to check on his mother.

Investigators said that Bryant and the gunman, who they believe planned to rob the store, argued. Then the gunman shot and killed Bryant and fled the store with $194 in cash, investigators said.

Now I’m not a professional journalist, but when a man runs into the store his mother is shopping in to confront a thug with a gun, I would probably use a verb other than argued. This makes it sound almost as if Bryant was looking for trouble. But this is nowhere near as disgusting as WYFF.com’s write up, which tries to humanize the coldblooded murderer.

Behold the absolute pinnacle of hug-a-thug reporting:

“I mean, I wasn’t expecting someone to be Superman, you know?” Davis said as guards walked him into the Greenville County Detention Center Wednesday night.

According to the victim’s brother, Roger Bryant, the victim and the shooter started fighting before shots were fired.

“From what I was told, they got into an altercation, wrestling around, then he shot him in the neck. Killed him,” Bryant said.

When asked if he had anything to say to the victim’s family, Davis gave a one-word answer: “Apologies.”

Well, if he apologizes all is well, no? So the victim and shooter just started fighting and shots were fired according to this report. Again it makes Bryant’s actions seem unreasonable, as if these were two drunks brawling in the street. Tremain Orlando Davis went to hold up the store Bryant’s mother was shopping at and Bryant, heroically, intervened and perhaps saved the lives of others. Would it kill WYFF to throw his grieving family that bone, since it’s the truth?

Davis, the murderer, is even given a little extra ink in the piece to tell his family he loves them. The same family that raised him to think it was acceptable to stick up Dollar General and murder anyone who tried to stop him.

Where’s the ink on how well Josh Bryant was raised? Where is the praise for a man who died defending his mother and all the other people in that store? Where are the kind words and thoughts for Bryant’s mother, who judging by her son’s heroism is an exemplary woman?

They’re not coming. Ever. Even now commenters on the WYFF story are lamenting the fact that “two mothers” lost their sons today. This is disgusting moral relativism driven by the media’s contempt for anyone they don’t understand. Davis isn’t dead, he is going to prison where he obviously belongs. That the media feeds the idea somehow Davis going to prison is equal in tragedy to Joshua Bryant being murdered by Davis is the most obvious example of the ivory tower pseudo-intellectualism that is killing the print media.

Joshua Bryant is a hero. It’s too bad we have a media in this country that won’t tell you that. Instead they sneer at defiance in the face of criminality because they don’t understand it, and they equate thugs and heroes because they can understand neither.
