Greenville County EMS, Fire and Police Scanner Feeds Free Online

Why drop $400+ on a police scanner when you can find plenty of feeds streaming live of free on the web, via RadioReference.com. The site has scanner feeds from all over and their Greenville County feed includes the Greenville County Sheriff Department, Easley Police, Greenville Fire and EMS and even the Downtown Greenville Airport. Service is spotty – the GCSD feed was down for a while when I wrote this but I had listened to it earlier – but it’s free so who’s complaining?

Red Alerts Re-Launch

I haven’t been updating because I’ve been busy with a re-launch of my old site Red Alerts. It’s now a group blog focusing on politics, culture, crime and the decline of America and I’ve got a great group ready to post there. The Border War and Victimless Crime File categories – both of which originated on Red Alerts – will be moved back to the old site.

I am also still looking for those who want to contribute, if you’re interested in writing about politics or crime contact me.

Food Lion Closes 113 Stores, 7 in Upstate

Not surprising. These stores were “under performing” which is a nice way of saying the were losing money hand over fist. The company is offering the employees who qualify severance packages and encouraging the employees to apply to work at other locations – meaning good workers can find a spot if management want them and if not they’ll slap a fat check on them as a thank you, slackers are headed to the unemployment line with not even a commemorative Food Lion mug. Before you complain yeah, I was the guy who got taken care of by management because I was an asset.

The full list of store closings is here, but WSPA lists the seven upstate stores:

1332 S. Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville.

3093 S. Hwy 14, Greer.

11295 Asheville Hwy., Inman.

241 Hillcrest Dr., Laurens.

2430 Reidville Rd., Spartanburg.

230 Cedar Springs Rd., Spartanburg

Surprise! The economy sucks! When the local Blooms were closing or being absorbed they had some good deals, so maybe Food Lion will be the place to go until they’re completely shuttered.

Anonymous Threatens NYSE Terror Attack on October 10th

The financial chaos they cause if they pull this off could tip the country into civil unrest. Glenn Beck has a good clip on the threat:

It should be noted that recently Anonymous called for violence against Wall St. workers in a video posted to their channel a couple of days ago.

As a precaution you should have plenty of food and water in the house – and guns and ammo in case Anonymous can create the nation wide chaos they want. If you haven’t purchased a gun and ammunition by now it’s pretty much too late. Hope hungry looters don’t hit your house.

Banks will probably close if they really pull off a significant attack on the financial sector so get plenty of cash out between now and then. The goal here is to cause a TEOTWAWKI level event so prepare in case they can actually achieve those goals.
