David Spring Should Have Been in Jail Already
By now many of you have heard of David Eugene Springs and his run-in with a local S.W.A.T. team. If you haven’t here’s a good summery:
GREENVILLE, S.C. — A man is behind bars in Greenville after being accused of domestic violence and robbing and carjacking a victim before a standoff with SWAT officers.
David Eugene Springs, 40, is charged with criminal domestic violence third degree, burglary second degree, strong armed robbery and grand larceny.
The sheriff’s office says deputies were called to a home on Old Buncombe Road after getting a 911 call about a domestic dispute. The victim said Spring broke into the home and made threats and left before officers arrived.
Deputies were then called to a reported robbery on Poinsett Highway after someone gave Springs a ride. Springs ordered the victim to stop at a Wilco store to take money from an ATM there. Springs got the cash and stole the victim’s Honda Accord.
GCSO investigators tracked Springs down at a home on Appaloosa Drive. Springs wouldn’t leave the home and claimed he had a firearm. The homeowner refused to leave as well.
You probably won’t be surprised to find that this wasn’t his first rodeo. According to public records Springs pled guilty to criminal domestic violence stemming from a 2009 incident, then earlier this year again pled guilty to domestic violence for an incident that happened in 2010.
Then things get tricky.
He pled guilty to stalking on August 23, 2011 for an incident that occurred in May, two days later he had criminal domestic violence charges dismissed which were filed for that same incident. I assume this was a plea deal.
And what did Greenville get in exchange for this plea? Less than two weeks later they need to send a S.W.A.T. team to take him after a crime spree. Nice job. This time we should throw the book at him.
Heroic Tow Truck Driver Catches Tiny Pervert in Spartanburg
Good news in that case of the 13-year-old girl who ran off with the 5’2″ Facebook predator from West Virginia. A tow truck driver spotted the man driving around Spartanburg and followed him until the cops could stop him. Would it surprise you to know aside from this incident he also has several other outstanding warrants? You mean he’s a career criminal? Who’d a thunk?

13-Year-Old Runs of with Tiny Man She Met on Facebook
A North Carolina girl is missing and authorities believe she’s with a 18-year-old from West Virginia:
ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP)— The Alamance County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a 13-year-old Alamance County girl who was last seen getting into a car with a man from West Virginia that she met online.
Deputies said Alexandria Brooke Cagle, 13, of Mountain Valley Road, Snow Camp, was last seen by a family member around 8 a.m on Monday when she got into a white car with Tyler Ross Cole, 18, of Morgantown, W. Va.
Following an investigation, deputies determined Cagle met Cole online within the last few weeks. Authorities said several thousand dollars was also stolen from the girl’s home. The girl’s parents reported the missing girl on Monday, according to a sheriff’s department press release.
Authorities have contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to report Cagle missing. Deputies have also obtained warrants against Cole for kidnapping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and other charges, according to an Alamance County Sheriff’s Department news release.
The fact that they met within a few weeks of him kidnapping her is worrisome. He shouldn’t be hard to find however. Apparently he’s pint sized:
Cagle is 5’2″, 107 pounds and has brown hair, green eyes and was last seen wearing a purple tank top and jean shorts. She goes by the nicknames “Alex” or “Ali.”
Cole is described as a 5’2″ white male and was last seen driving a 1998 Ford Escort with West Virginia license plate 7UL793.
The little girl has a serious medical condition so please keep your eyes open and help with the search if you can. Here’s a picture of the tiny desperado:
Surprise! Homeless Shelters Increase Crime!
Because they consolidate drug users into one area, usually a suburban one. Despite what bleeding hearts tell you most homeless people are addicts, drunks or mentally ill. Thus living with large populations of them is always, shall we say, challenging. Not South Carolina related but the problems these Florida residents are having is similar to the problem Greenville has – especially the downtown area.
Video of Man Severely Beaten by Vancouver Mob
Vancouver was rocked by riots yesterday as thousands of “hockey fans” went berserk in celebration of their team’s loss. I put the term in quotes because it’s clear from various reports that Black Bloc was there specifically to cause mayhem and many of the people on the street were young hipsters – who I doubt were at a hockey game.
During the riot a few good Samaritans tried to stop the mob from looting a building. One member of the enraged mob eventually attacked one of these people with a stick. When the good Samaritan got the upper hand and defended himself the mob descended and brutally beat him. Hard to watch but it has to be seen:
The crowd is not your friend and they are not rational. If riots break out in an area leave. If you are in your home barricade it and prepare to defend your property. But unarmed in a country like Canada which looks down on self-defense it was madness to confront this crowd. Brave and laudable, but still madness.
Here in America things aren’t much different. Even people with carry permits cannot face down mobs like this out in the open. Get indoors and then do everything you can to keep your shelter secure. That’s the only way to survive a riot.
