Curtis Arms Learns That Robbing Banks is Harder Than it Looks in Movies

Life's not a crime caper movie

The hard way:

Simpsonville Police arrested a suspect in a Main Street bank robbery, only hours after the crime occurred.

Officers say Curtis William Arms, 25, of Easley, is charged with bank robbery afgter witnesses spotted a man walking to a truck parked two blocks away.

The witness gave the description of the truck and the tag number to police and officers spotted the red Ford pickup and arrested Arms on unrelated charges, according to officers.

Needless to say Arms gave it up and $5000 was recovered. Maybe strolling to your car, which can be easily traced to you, after robbing a bank is not a great idea. But it’s hard to look cool hauling ass into a park or some woods where a change of clothes and a dump site for your money to be stashed has been left. Where’s the drama in waiting a couple of months for the heat to be off to go back for the loot?
