New Born Infant Found in Bi-Lo Center Bathroom

From the Greenville Police Department Facebook page:

The Greenville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the mother of an infant child who was abandoned at the Bi-Lo Center on February 4, 2011. The child, believed to be a white male, was left in a toilet inside a women’s restroom. The child is in critical condition at an area medial center. If you have any information, please contact the G.P.D. at 271-GCPD or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.

My understanding is that the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus was the show at which this happened so if you know a woman who was pregnant when she was going to the circus but now is neither pregnant nor a mother let someone know.

When I first heard this story, the first thought I had was, it was a person with some form of retardation. I read a article from a guy who use to work with the Special Olympics, in this article he said the worst part of the job was keeping the participants from sneaking off and having “relations”. I bet this happens more than we know. Lets face it, this isn’t easy to pull off. I’ve seen both my kids born and although birth it a beautiful thing, it’s a gross mess too. How do you stagger back to your seat, or ride home in a car and someone else not know something is amiss? This is just my gut feeling.
