Oregon School Has to Cancel Dance to Keep Kids from Dry Humping Each Other

Teens are disgusting ... and it's their parents fault

The kids call it “grinding” but when I was a kid if was called dry humping and most of you men (and some of you ladies) will know this as lap dancing which is something men usually pay for and do in private.

Young girls these days, raised by pot smoking skanks (“Ajax” Please read the link) and step-fathers with inappropriate boundaries, think that grinding their crotches into the crotches of young boys in front of horrified adults is no big deal. I assume that there will be no dearth of strippers, escorts and single mothers in the next couple of decades because we’re raising girls that give sluts a bad name:

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Frustrated teachers who have been unable to stop students from grinding on the dance floor have canceled the winter formal at an Oregon high school.

Vice Principal Pam Joyner tells The Oregonian chaperones have tried everything to prevent the inappropriate contact — lectures, shining flashlights, and even T-shirts that said “No bumping.”

Nothing worked. So, teachers at the Portland school are refusing to chaperone the January dance.

The school’s special projects coordinator, Jan Watt, says the students dance like people they see on TV.

Some students told The Oregonian grinding is no big deal, but they wouldn’t want their parents to watch.

Yes, they wouldn’t want their mother’s boyfriends to get jealous.

Really America? We’re raising our children to be so immersed in narcissism and “sex positive” feminism that middle and high school aged kids are giving their teachers free sex shows?

I make no secret of being a righty including being socially conservative in the broadest sense. I also make no secret that I am a practicing Pagan and don’t view sex as sinful or inherently wrong – among adults. I don’t care if you want to give free lap dances to people who don’t respect you once you turn 18, but even then why do you think other people want to see you do it?

Because your parents taught you to have self-esteem instead of self-respect.

We spend too much time in our culture validating kid’s rotten decisions and not enough time encouraging them to become decent people. This is the end result of the “everything is special, no one is ever wrong” educational model our entire country has adopted and the parents are the only ones who can correct this before their kids are doing amateur porn.

Take your daughter aside and tell the the truth: no one respects a whore so stop acting like one. She’ll be happier and you won’t end up taking care of her three children by four different fathers. You can also tell her it is not her teacher’s job to help them hook up at parties. That might be nice too.

first off, I agree with you, second, I remember a school dance circa 1986 where the teachers almost beat down the poor

(sorry) the poor DJ because we, the students requested “Ride the pony” Billy Idol style. They were none to pleased with the chorus…. LOL good times.

Yes, I read the link, and tracked down the original article abstract. And no, correlation does not prove causation. Did you see how wide those confidence intervals were? And no evidence that other variables were controlled form My verdict: junk science.

So pot smokers have a higher incidence of STDs and you see no correlation between getting stoned and not using condoms? Really?

Drug users getting the clap more than non-drug users is a mysterious coincidence to you? I guess drug users falling down more or having more car accidents is also something we’ll just never be able to explain.

  5. Ajax the Great on November 15th, 2010 5:53 pm

The study only found such a correlation for DAILY cannabis users, not users as a whole. The vast majority of users are not daily users. And it IS possible to get high and use a condom, just like it is possible to “forget” to use one when sober. Besides, you could make the same arguments about booze, and I’m sure there are studies to “prove” that too, but in this article (which has nothing to do with drugs) you specifically singled out cannabis as if it were some unmitigated evil above all else.

You have no evidence to prove the vast majority of users don’t use every day.

And indeed people who drink every day do in fact pick up diseases more often than sober people.

When you’re banging some skank you met at a Phish concert it is not possible to forget that she’s filthy if you’re in your right mind and you know it. You sound a bit defensive on this. Let me guess, you got the clap from one of your smoking partners?

  7. Ajax the Great on November 15th, 2010 6:11 pm

Nope, never got any sort of STD, and never “banged a skank” (to put it in sexist lingo) at a Phish concert either. And the evidence that most users don’t use everyday is the very same evidence that the study you cite relies upon–self-reported surveys. Including the data in the study itself. Please educate yourself a bit more on the subject.

I have. As I said before I have known dozens of potheads in my 39 years and ALL were daily users.

But maybe you haven’t been to a Phish concert. But let’s say a Lilith fair. I am 100% sure you’ve banged a skank. Remember, I’m also the webs foremost psychic.

  9. Ajax the Great on November 15th, 2010 8:46 pm

Well, I have known dozens as well. Where I went to undergrad the majority of students used cannabis at least occasionally. Most were not daily users, but even many of the ones that were were fairly normal people. Ditto for my high school. Then again, I didn’t grow up in a ghetto like you did.

Nope, haven’t been to either one, and none of the women I have been involved with in that way were “skanks”, to use the same sexist term you use.

  10. Rob Taylor on November 15th, 2010 8:55 pm

You clearly don’t know what the term sexist means.

But of course I knew it would only take you a few comments to try to make racist insinuations. It’s the drugs talking.

We all find it amusing that you think the behavior of high school kids and undergrads is comparable to how people should act later in life. If you’re not in your teens you should be ashamed. But since you live in your mom’s house and spend weeks of your life begging for my attention (I assume your father left) I guess you really don’t have any shame, right?

  11. Ajax the Great on November 15th, 2010 9:17 pm

I don’t see you calling promiscuous guys names like that. The “studs/sluts” double standard IS sexist.

Racist? Methinks thou doth protest too much. You talk about growing up in the ghetto in previous posts. If I said “trailer park” instead, supposing you had said you grew up in one of those, would that be racist? Classist, maybe, but not racist. And I came from relatively humble beginnings myself, though did not live in either one.

And no, I am not under the influence of anything, so how can it be the drugs talking? Have you been drinking again, Rob?

FYI I do not live in my mom’s house or even in the same state as her. My parents are divorced, but my father did NOT abandon me or anyone else. I still see him a few times a year whenever I go back to visit my mother, as they do not live very far from each other.

And the ubiquitous ad hominem attacks show that you are losing the argument.

  12. Rob Taylor on November 15th, 2010 10:35 pm

Do you know what “ubiquitous” means?

If you don’t live with someone who supports you I’ll give you $100. Just prove it. Send me a pay stub and a rent bill that you paid.

  13. Ajax the Great on November 16th, 2010 12:48 pm

Why would I send such personally identifiable information to a total stranger? And why should I even have to prove that you in the first place, since it is irrelevant to the discussion. What matters is if the facts are true and the arguments are valid. How about you send me proof that you have a job other than blogging all day?

Ubiquitous means having or seeming to have the ability to be everywhere at once; omnipresent. Which is what your ad hominem attacks have been, in virtually all posts you have made. I also notice you have yet to actually refute anything I have said in the past two posts.

Face it, you lost the argument. And I have no more time for this, as I actually have a life.

  14. Rob Taylor on November 16th, 2010 3:50 pm

I have told you before that this is indeed how I make a living. And I simply don’t believe you have a life other than getting high and looking for stranger’s attention when you can’t find a smoking partner.

  15. Ajax the Great on November 16th, 2010 5:10 pm

Believe what you want. Truth was never your forte anyway.
