Police Arrest Mauldin Child Stalker

Guy look Asian to you? Either the witnesses to the crime have never seen an Asian and assume bushy eyebrows are an indicator of Asain ancestry or that whole “Asian or Hispanic” description was blarney.

Anyway, 23-year-old Octavio Ginez Altamirano got popped for being the Mauldin child stalker. Police have not released any information about what he claims he was up to but we all know what he was up to anyway. Problem is, he won’t do much time for this, if any at all. From WSPA:

Altamirano has been charged with disturbing schools and first-degree harassment. He is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

Disturbing Schools has a maximum penalty of one year in county and a $2,000 fine. With a first offense First Degree Harassment charge the max Altamirano faces is three years and a $1,000 fine. Both are misdemeanors and since Altamirano didn’t hurt anyone it’s unlikely he’ll get the max but even if he did he would probably be out on the streets in less than five years. I predict probation and, call me a bigot, but an immigration hold.

Where are the attempted child abduction charges??? Does a child actually have to get into his car with him, be driven away, and found raped/dead in order for this guy to be slapped with any sort of meaningful charges? I’m disgusted.

Since he “only” talked to a child he just gets harassment. I guess we will have to wait.

put a GPS chip in his head and have it release a knock out drug that disables him and calls 911 if he gets within 100ft of a school. Sorry, is that a little to 1984ish?
