Police Release Details of Prostitution Bust, Including the Names of Johns

Or as we call them in South Carolina, “whore mongers”.

The libertarian in me is outraged by the publication of the johns’ names, but the crime blogger in me is gleeful. Guilty pleasure or public service? Who cares! Here’s a list of 20 suckers that got caught up in a police sting where two women who obviously weren’t drug addicts walked the streets pretending to turn tricks. You know, because people not addicted to heroin like to do a little street walking in their spare time:

Benjamin Randolph Barbaree, Greenville

Charles Brewton, Greenville

Eddy Arnold Burdette, Easley

Samuel D. Fullard, Greenville

Roberto Guerra Giron, Greenville

Mystie Lee Lane, Transient

Brian L. Lewallen, Greenville

Brandon Lloyd, Mauldin

Ciko Moarels-Lozada, Greenville

Donald Martin, Greenville

Charles Woodrow Melton, Easley

Mark Edward Miles, Anderson

Harold Overholt, Due West

Alan R. Pruitt, Easley

Jeddrick Jerome Smith, Greenville

Steven Michael Smith II, Greenville

Jonathan Tuler, Piedmont

Joseph Harvey Vicars, Anderson

Alexander Wilver, Greenville

Unnamed juvenile

You’ll no doubt be surprised to note that police confiscated a “significant amount” of drugs as well. Shocking, I know.

Here are some highlights here that crime buffs may not want to miss:

Police said besides the prostitution-related charge, one of the men, Brian L. Lewallen, had his 6-year-old daughter with him, so he is also charged with unlawful conduct toward a child. Another man, Jeddrick Smith, repeatedly threatened the undercover deputy with physical harm, so he was also charged with assault of a high and aggravated nature, deputies said. The warrant says Lewallen told the deputy, who is very small, that he was going to “smash her head in.”

Police said during the sting, a homeless woman, Mystie Lee Lane, was charged with interfering with police.

Sounds like Lewallen is a degenerate. Throw the book at him! Also, who’s with me on thinking Mistie Lee Lane just wanted her corner back?

More disturbing, who was the kid looking to get high with hookers?

Update: Are there mugshots? You bet your ass there are mugshots!

please check your facts. yes, my husband was arrested because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. After losing his livihood (in America, guilty before innocent) he was found in October 2010 that he was incorrectly arrested. The judge found him NOT GUILTY and his record is being ex(punged. Amazing how a law enforcement agent (officer Reyes) wronged him and carried his vendetta against him for 1 year). Reyes did not suffer that year but Vicars’ family did. Oh! another minister we know was arrested in Oct. 2010. Same charges….not guilty…..something sure is stinking in Greenville County and it is not the innocent!!!
