South Carolina Democratic Party Leader Won’t Seek 3rd Term

Surprise! Carol Fowler announced that she will not be seeking re-election after the disastrous (and awesome) Alvin Greene election. Not that that’s the reason you understand. It’s just time.

From Fox Carolina:

The State newspaper reported Tuesday that Carol Fowler said she will not seek another term at the party’s convention next spring.

Fowler said that her decision is not related to the troubles with U.S. Senate candidate Alvin Greene, who surprised officials by winning the nomination in June.

No but it may have to do with local Democrats starting to refer to her as Carol Foul-up.

Good luck in your next endeavor Carol. But if I may float a name for your replacement, how does Party Leader Alvin Greene grab you?
