South Carolina Enshrines Right to Hunting and Fishing in State Constitution!

It's in The Constitution!

There were actually several amendments voted on last Tuesday but Amendment I had the most far reaching consequences because by guaranteeing the right to hunt and fish you also guarantee a) the right to use of public land and b) the right to own and use hunting equipment like traps, firearms, knives etc. South Carolina is know as a gun friendly state but there had been movements afoot to limit where you could have a gun, for example.

Hunting and trapping help put food on the table (and in food banks) and money in people’s pockets. Protecting these traditions actually will help people in the hard times to come. Time to celebrate sports people!

I voted for it by the way, which is why I demand you read about it.

I once lived in Charleston, South Carolina and
agree that hunting nd fishing must be legal
and enshrined as a constitutional right.

I read your article about Amazon on Horowitz’s Real Blog and totally agree with you. To censor
this book is now the answer. We must know our
enemy. I am ambivalent about the removal of
you tube videos of the Muslim preaching hatred
against Americans and inciting jihad for the same reason. We must know our enemy. These videos
give us a glimpse of what is on the horizon.
Though I would not need to read such a book to
understand about pedophilia. So many people are in denial that evil exists, sometimes they have
to be confronted with it. Thanks for your well
    written article.

Thank you for the feedback. I too am ambivalent about videos on YouTube but I vacillate depending on what they entail.
