Victimless Crime File: Shiftless Stoner Kills Mother
According to his brother 39-year-old Walker Manning Hughes had a “turbulent” relationship with his 64-year-old mother mainly because she disapproved of his drug use. So it comes as no surprise to me that, despite the myth of the mellow stoner, that when Karen Hughes was found dead in her home and her car missing that the main suspect was Walker. Walker was coincidentally found in the same area that Karen Hughes’ stolen car was found. He was also found a weapon which is a no no since he has an arrest record that stretches back to 1990 and includes:
Six counts burglary
Three counts grand larceny
One count of receiving stolen goods
18 counts forgeryOne count possession of marijuana
One count of parole violation
One count of sale of a weapon
One count of fraudulent check
One count of breach of peace
I guess getting high really does mellow you out.
I will point out now that Karen Hughes didn’t die because weed was illegal, she didn’t rat out her son or get killed in a deal gone bad. She objected to her shiftless 39-year-old son spending what little money he had on getting high and that is no doubt why she got her head caved in. Let me use my psychic powers here and deduce that Walker, at 39, lived with his mother and had no job. His record shows that when he needed money instead of working he stole or conned himself some money then went back to mamas.
The drug culture is a by-product of Americans inflated sense of entitlement. Karen Hughes is dead because her 39-year-old son never wanted to grow up, take responsibility for his own life and stop getting high. Now he’s claiming he’s being framed – framed by the police for no real reason. Even when getting caught almost red handed he can’t man up and plead out.
I have a collection of death threats from the supposedly mellow pot smoking community and I’ll surprise you by saying it isn’t the pot that caused them. Getting high is a symptom of a larger problem. People think they’re entitled to live judgment free, consequence free and criticism free and worse they think those of us who do criticize them are doing something wrong. This is why a lovely older woman, who by all accounts was a good mother and neighbor, died at her own son’s hands. His sense of entitlement led him to live a life of criminality that allegedly ended in beating his own mother to death.
The argument for the legalization of any drugs must not rely on the myth that it “lowers crime’ because drug legality is literally irrelevant to crime. Drug users are drug users and there are reasons they’re getting high instead of growing up.
Robert H. Charping Refusing Extradition to Georgia on Oil Rustling Charges
I’d refuse too, you never know when a lynch mob might form, pard. But he’s just delaying the inevitable:
A Greer, S.C., man accused in Hall County of stealing motor oil refused extradition this week, as investigators in three states continue scrutinizing similar thefts at car dealerships and auto shops dating back at least a year.
Robert H. Charping, 50, is in custody at Greenville County Detention Center in Greenville, S.C., where officials await legal paperwork ordering his release to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
He has been charged here with two felony counts of theft by taking for separate Sept. 2 incidents on Browns Bridge Road. And deputies have surveillance footage to support their case, said Capt. Woodrow Tripp, who supervises the criminal investigations division.
“Clearly, the video puts (him) right there,” Tripp said.
A witness foiled what may have been Charping’s second stop at the Milton Martin Honda dealership on Jan. 21, Tripp said, with a 911 call about a suspicious tanker.It was the second unusual call from the business in less than five months.
Milton Martin’s parts manager told police Sept. 2 that used and new motor oil housed in holding tanks behind the business had been stolen, according to the incident report.
The witness, a delivery person, knew similar crimes happened elsewhere. So he called police after spotting the tanker early on the morning of Jan. 21.
Looks like they got you dead to rights Charping. You’re gonna’ hang for this! And a no good, yellow belly oil rustler deserves no better if yer askin’.
Donald Wilson is a Filthy Degenerate
The above baby boomer is 60-year-old Donald Wilson from Travelers Rest. When a mother wanted to quickly run it to the Target on Wade Hampton Blvd she left her 13-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son in the car. At that point Donald the pervert drove his van up next to the children, unzipped his pants and began fondling himself in front of he kids. The daughter called her mother and Wilson was later arrested.
You won’t be surprised to learn he’s done this before. Hoping for leniency he wrote an apology to the young girl which revealed that he had done this before in the Greer area, to an unknown amount of young girls. But here’s the worst part of the story.
He can only be charged with a misdemeanor because he never showed the girl his junk. Apparently in South Carolina it’s only a misdemeanor to jerk off in front of a 13-year-old in public if you’re careful not to expose your penis. He’ll likely only do 30-days.
It’s unlikely that this pervert isn’t a child molester or a child porn collector so I’d urge the police to check his hard drive. In the mean time parents if you’re expecting justice for your children make sure they actually see the penis of the pervert that’s assaulting them. Fox Carolina has a video report.
Woman Sought in Local Serial Forgery Case

An unknown white female cashed two stolen checks at the Greer branch of the Palmetto Bank. The two checks were cashed on January 8, 2011. The white female is driving a black in color Chevrolet SUV with a paper tag. The two stolen checks were from two auto breakings. One of the auto breakings occurred at a private residence in Anderson, SC and the second auto breaking was at the Eastside YMCA in Greenville SC. The unknown female has cashed other stolen checks in Simpsonville, Mauldin, Spartanburg City, Greenville City, and Greenville County.
