Jason Nem Smith of Campobello Charged With Distributing Kiddie Porn

Jason Smith of Campobello is a filthy pervert. (Allegedly, of course.) Here’s the news release from the Office of the Attorney General:
Attorney General Henry McMaster announced today that Jason Nem Smith, 30, of 208 Harrison Acres Drive, in Campobello, South Carolina, was arrested on August 5, 2010, by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office on child pornography charges.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Task Force investigators have received training on the use of special software to conduct undercover investigations related to the sharing of child pornography on peer-to-peer (file sharing) networks.
Smith is charged with one (1) count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (§16-15-405), 2nd Degree, a felony offense punishable by two (2) to ten (10) years imprisonment; one (1) count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (§16-15-410), 3rd Degree, a felony offense punishable to ten (10) years imprisonment; and three (3) counts of Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor (§16-15-345), a felony offense punishable to ten (10) years imprisonment on each count.
Smith is charged with sharing digital photographs and/or videos over the Internet depicting children engaged in sex acts. Smith’s computer was seized for forensic examination. Files containing the pornographic images were found on that computer.
A booking photo is available through the Spartanburg County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
McMaster stressed that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
Smith posted bond and is back out on the street today. Let’s hope investigators have an airtight case.
Chrissy Gail Greene Proves “Anger Management” Classes Are a Scam
We all know some cretin who uses some pop-culture psycho-babble to explain away their douchebaggery. Your pot-smoking basement dweller friend says he has “Aspergers syndrome” so they can’t find a job or thank you for the $40 you loaned them or the unpleasant, fat woman at your job suffers “low self-esteem” which can only be treated with addicting prescription drugs and you embracing adipositivity.
Of course anyone of moderate intelligence who has run into these types of people know almost immediately that the real problems all of them have is lack of morals, lack of character and often enough drug o alcohol problems. This is usually combined with laziness and a sense of entitlement which work hand in hand ensure the person never takes responsibility of their own life or problems.
Unfortunately we live in a culture that not only encourages this sort nonsense, but institutionalizes it. We send addicts and drunks to rehab instead of jail, we medicate children instead of disciplining them and we send people who need their asses kicked to anger management classes. This brings me to Chrissy Gail Greene.
This slattern is 30-years-old and was sentenced to anger management classes after a domestic violence charge on or about April 30th. Now just a few short weeks later Chrissy is in trouble again for a brutal and vicious attack on her ex-husband. From WSPA:
The arrest warrant says Green struck the victim in the head with a hammer and in the body with a metal tricycle and threatened to shoot him.
Greene and her brother went to the victim’s home in Inman around 8:00pm. on April 20 with her brother according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office incident report. Greene was intoxicated according to the report.
The victim says after being attacked by his estranged wife, she began to smash windows and doors at the home. The front storm door “had been shattered” according to the deputy.
A witness says Greene drove away from the scene with her brother, who “tried to stop Chrissy from attacking” the victim.
If she has an “anger management problem” why was the brother driving her to her ex-husband’s house while she was drunk? And why the getaway? It sounds to me more like Chrissy and her rotten brother are a couple of pieces of trash who run around causing trouble because they think nothing will happen to them. Nowadays there is some fancy term for it I’m sure, but my Grandmother used to call this a matter of “no home training” which was a euphemism for a child who was spoiled and never spanked. I’m not a spanking advocate, but in this cases it’s clear that this person has never experienced consequences for her attacks on others that would make her re-think roughing up people. A spanking as a child may have helped in that respect.
Anger management classes will not.
I will bet you good money that Chrissy and her clan of Jerry Springer guests can control their anger just fine when someone gets ready to lay a heavy hand on them. A person with an anger management problem used to be called a bully and though the terms may change the prescription for them remains the same. The lady friend of her ex should have pepper sprayed her then laid the boots on her until the cops came. I bet you after that Chrissy Gail Greene’s anger management problem would magically disappear, at least in regards to the couple she’s currently targeting.
People treat you the way you let them treat you, and the Chrissy Gail Greenes of the world can’t be cured by therapy because they aren’t sick. They’re just degenerates and should be treated like the animals they tend to act like. Let’s put her in a cage where she belongs, and stop pretending we can fix folks who are just bad people.
Congressional Candidate Jim Lee Offering $2,500 Reward for Sign Rustlers or Site Hackers!
The general vacuousness of unemployed college students and baby boomers, sorry I understand they prefer to called political activists, is about to pay off big for some eagle eyed Greenville County residents as Greenville Congressional candidate Jim Lee announces his intention to pay a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of people caught illegally removing his signs.
His office sent around this press release earlier today:
April 13, 2010 (Mauldin, SC) The Jim Lee for Congress campaign has announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) stealing campaign signs in the Upstate.
“Unfortunately, this sort of behavior is almost expected during a campaign, but this level of sign removal goes beyond usual tactics. It is escalating each week as we put out more signs,” stated Jim Lee. “It has become obvious to supporters that our campaign is being specifically targeted as we receive calls and emails nearly every day of signs being stolen out of their own front yards.”
Signs in Jim Lee’s front yard were stolen twice Easter week.
Other reports of missing signs are coming in from across the district from volunteers who put out signs and are noticing that all other candidate’s signs are still there. “Only Jim Lee’s were missing,” has been stated by several volunteers.
One volunteer hearing of the reward this morning stated, “$2500!! I’ve got coffee and a camera and I’m good to go!!”
The Lee Campaign will also offer a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons(s) responsible for hacking into the campaign website over Easter weekend causing the website to be down for several days. The campaign has not yet determined an amount or offered further details as they are still investigating the incident.
“Timing would indicate it is likely the same individuals involved in stealing the signs and hacking the website,” stated campaign consultant Kerry Wood, “We would also like to encourage any would-be sleuths to avoid confrontation with those responsible. Get your evidence; physical description of individuals responsible, vehicle description and license plate, and take video or photographs if possible. Then contact local law enforcement and our campaign at 688-2500.”
Of course stealing signs or crashing the websites of people you disagree with politically is probably one of the most childish things people can do, which means the culprits are either college students or one of those baby boomers that hang around Coffee Underground looking for teens to smoke pot with. Of course, $2,500 buys a lot of weed so I assume someone will get turned in fairly quickly.
Suspect Charged in Spartanburg Elevator Assault
Jimmy Edward Henderson of Lyman has been charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct after assaulting a woman on an elevator this afternoon. In what appears to be a crime of opportunity, Henderson reportedly decided to help himself to a grope and possibly more when he thought no one else was around. Fortunately, his target had other ideas.
According to Spartanburg Public Safety, the incident occurred around 3:00 pm at the Spartanburg Surgery Center off Serpentine Drive. A woman was inside a public elevator with a crowd of people, including Henderson. Several people left, and the victim was left alone with the suspect. “As soon as the doors closed, he started trying to get close to her, and started trying to touch her,” says Lt. Ron Cantrell with Spartanburg Public Safety. “She successfully fought him off, and when the elevator doors opened on the 5th floor, she was able to escape.”
The victim correctly identified 46-year-old Henderson in a photo lineup. He turned himself in at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center Monday evening, and is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Facility.
Deputies Nab Man Who Carjacked His Own Grandma
Nothing says rock bottom quite like carjacking your own grandmother. And the Friday night carjacking was just the beginning of the havoc caused in three counties by 20-year-old Brandon Earl Gosnell.
Anderson deputies said they got a call that Gosnell had carjacked his own grandmother. They said he grabbed her by the throat, forced her from her car, robbed her and then drove off toward Spartanburg.
In Spartanburg County, deputies said Gosnell went to a relative’s house near Fingerville Saturday morning. They said he kicked in the door, threw several personal items inside and left.
While he was leaving, two of the men who lived there went outside. Police said Gosnell fired his shotgun at both of them and missed both times.
Deputies said he drove away and then ditched the car and ran off into some woods. They said he found an old red Ford truck in the woods and stole it from a hunter.
Spartanburg County sent out a “be on the lookout” alert, and a few hours later, Anderson County deputies spotted him.
“There was a challenge, there were some shots fired and the suspect was taken into custody and is being treated for apparently non life-threatening injuries,” said Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Daryl Loftis.
The situation ended in Greenville County, just past the county line.
Gosnell faces charges of assault and battery with intent to kill, burglary, and possession of a stolen vehicle charges in Spartanburg County. He will face charges in Anderson County as well.
Update:
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has charged Gosnell with seven counts of assault with intent to kill. Deputies say he pointed a shotgun at them after the chase. In addition, it is alleged that during his rampage Gosnell fired a shotgun at a group of five firefighters standing in front of the West Pelzer Fire Department. The ACSO has also charged Gosnell with driving under suspension, failure to stop a motor vehicle when signaled by law enforcement, carjacking, and strong armed robbery.
