Joseph Calvin Creech Arrested for Murdering Homeless Woman
I got an email from a source that says Creech has a long history of criminal violence and specifically crimes against women but I haven’t found any evidence of that except this archived copy of a Herald-Journal from 1989. In a piece on the “evils” of guns the article says a Joseph Creech, who was a student at Woodruff High School, brought a shotgun to school, fired it into the floor because he was “upset over a girl” and that no one was hurt. The article doesn’t say much more except that he went to Juvie. But there’s no sure way to know if that Creech was the same as the one arrested for this murder, though the ages match up if you do the math.
But there could be more than one Joseph Creech in South Carolina that attended high school in the 80s.
Since the victim was a homeless woman found in an abandoned house frequented by squatters and the 50+ year old woman was said to be an acquaintance of Creech I’m going to put forward that this is likely a prostitute killing. Prostitutes are of course the favored victims of serial killers, but they are also simply easy targets for anyone with a mind for mayhem. Hopefully they have the right man and have caught him before he hurt too many people.

Three Degenerates Arrested for 2001 Murder of Michael Smith
After nine long years the widow of 34-year-old Michael Smith, brutally murdered by the pack of feral thieves pictured above, has been granted justice as the murderers were rounded up and await trail:
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s office said three people charged in connection with a 2001 murder are in custody.
Spartanburg County deputies said Steven Lee McDowell, 35, turned himself in to authorities early Saturday morning. Investigators arrested Gerald Elliseo Gonzalez, 36, and his wife, LaWanda Gonzalez, 34, of Campobello, on Friday afternoon. All three are charged with the murder of Michael Smith.
According to a news release from the Spartanburg Sheriff’s Office, Greenville County deputies responded to an SUV fire on East Suber Road in Greer on November 15, 2001.
Inside the vehicle was the body of Michael Smith from Spartanburg. An autopsy showed Smith died from a gunshot wound.
Surprise! All three had extensive criminal histories:
According to online records with the Spartanburg County jail, LaWanda Gonzalez has been arrested 15 times since September 2007 on charges ranging from fraud and forgery to trespassing and shoplifting.
Gerald Gonzalez has been jailed five previous times since November 2007. He and LaWanda Gonzalez each have pending charges of financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud from April 2009.
McDowell was charged with driving under suspension and failure to stop for a blue light in September 2008, but that charge was dismissed according to online court records. McDowell pleaded guilty to a weapons charge in 1994 and was sentenced under the youthful offender act.
That youthful offender act worked out well, right? From their crimes it sounds like LaWanda and her hubby like the drugs and her brother is a thug. I’m glad they’re off the streets.
Is It Wrong That I’m Not Afraid of The Rolling 60s?
The Rolling 60s are a gang in Spartanburg that have made the news recently for trying to force a kid to join their gang, going so far as to “jump” him in then threaten to kill him if he didn’t toe the Rolling 60s line:
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Deputies have charged six teenagers in connection with the gang initiation and beating of a 15-year-old boy on Monday.
Investigators said they were called to a home on Broadway Street in Glendale at about 6 p.m.
Deputies said that when they arrived the boy’s mother said her son was assaulted by members of a gang called “Rolling 60s.” She said that her son was being forced to join the gang and was being “jumped in.” They said that this process involves physically assaulting a prospective gang member as part of an initiation.
Investigators said that after the teens beat the boy they threatened him and the lives of his family members if he refused orders from the gang.
The boy’s mother took him to an area hospital where he was treated for bruises to his chest.
Of the six three are 17 so their identities have been released. They are Michael Johnson,Justin Thigpen, and Elizabeth Weather. Here are their mugshots:
So I guess the orders they were warning the victim to never disobey were to meet them in the food court so that they can head to Hot Topic? Then they’ll buy some K2 and head over to Starbucks.
I’m sorry, I know criminals all start off as some bad kid somewhere but I’m betting we can disband the Rolling 60s with a couple of spankings and three months of being grounded. These kids are going to be eaten alive on the streets if they think they’re really going to claim turf and maybe it’s time for their parents to take away their Gangsta’ rap filled iPods and keep these little morons out of trouble.
Spartanburg County Alternative School Student Assaults Teacher During “Temper Tantrum”
The student is 17-years-old so I frankly think calling this attack a temper tantrum is a bit off base. Sounds like this “kid” needs to do a few months in the county lock-up to me. Of course, that doesn’t fit in with the teaching philosophy of the Spartanburg County Alternative School who describe themselves thusly:
We are a diverse and goal oriented group of students and faculty dedicated to education, character development and raising social consciousness. Our vision is to provide an alternative school setting where a diverse student population has an opportunity to successfully integrate back into the home school environment, GED/adult education, or into the workforce. Spartanburg County Alternative School is where

A chieve

Uh-huh. If I’m reading this correctly, they’re preparing this “diverse” population for a life of living at home, getting a GED and maybe picking up 2nd shift at Walgreens. Shoot for the stars.
How does this goal oriented, diverse stable of do-gooders work to help their diverse, socially conscious stable of needy students achieve their lofty goal of perpetual impoverishment? With this simple yet surprisingly convoluted “philosophy” that sounds suspiciously like someone wrote it while reading bumper stickers in the Whole Foods parking lot:
It is our fundamental belief that all students are of value, and they need guidance to find and develop the positive qualities they possess. We understand that many will have histories of failure in the traditional educational setting. Therefore, it is our goal to strive to find creative approaches which will enable them to experience academic success that will continue with them throughout their lives. We are dedicated to offering a non-judgmental environment that will provide structured learning that is not rigid.
How’s that non-judgmental environment working out anyway?
According to a release from Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office representative Tony Ivey, deputies were called to the school on Lincoln School Road at 1:35 p.m. The call was in reference to an unruly student in the school’s gym, Ivey said.
When officers arrived, they witnessed a faculty member trying to escort Marcel Allen Kline, 17, to another part of the school, the release said.
The officer said he heard Kline shout a racial slur at the faculty member then kick a door, shattering the glass, according to the incident report. The officer said Kline then repeatedly kicked the teacher, the report said.
Kline was taken into custody and charged with one count each of assault and battery on a school employee by a student, disturbing school and malicious injury to real property.
He was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center where he is being held on a $2,500 bond.
I’m shocked, shocked, that teenagers would be so disrespectful to a bunch of mincing hippies who spent their time telling him to lower his expectations and not accept “rigid” and “judgmental” actions and attitudes from others. Why, it’s almost as if troubled teens need more structure and discipline rather than less.
But hey, I’m not the expert here. I’ll let the results of Spartanburg County Alternative School speak for themselves.
The faculty page lists three different teachers for something called “character education.” Is it safe to assume Kline wasn’t doing well in those classes?
Shawn Daly of Greer Pleads Guilty to Molesting Child
In other words he’s officially a filthy degenerate:
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — A former paramedic in South Carolina has pleaded guilty to committing lewd acts on a child.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported that 38-year-old Shawn Daily of Greer pleaded guilty earlier this week.
Daily originally was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor after an 11-year-old girl said he molested her several times between 2006 and 2008. At the time, Daily worked for Spartanburg County emergency medical services.
Prosecutors say sentencing was delayed because Daily faces other charges.
Good riddance to child molesting rubbish.
