Victimless Crime File: Father Shoots Son in Drug Dispute

From Fox Carolina:

PIEDMONT, S.C. — Greenville officials said an argument about drugs between a father and son ended in a deadly shooting on Monday.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office was called to the mobile home Carr Street to investigate the deadly shooting.

Officers told FOX Carolina that the 38-year-old son, identified by Greenville County deputies as Mitchell Brock, attacked his 75-year-old father during the dispute and the father shot Brock in the chest with a rifle.

Officials said Brock died while being transported to the hospital.

Three witnesses and the father were taken to the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center for questioning, but no charges have yet been filed.

Officers described the father as a good citizen in the community. His name has not yet been publicly released.

No charges were filed because, according to WSPA, the drug addict son charged the elderly man with a knife. Sounds like the father objected to an addict bringing drugs in his house and the addict reacted like addicts always do.

But if only we legalized it this would have been better, right stoners?
