Victimless Crime File: Why Do Adults Really Want to Get High With Kids?

He uses pot to get kids pants off

For sex of course! I may be biased coming from NYC by way of  East Orange, NJ (also known as “Illtown”) but I’ve never seen an adult who wants to share their drugs with a kid (even an older “kid” of college age) who wasn’t trying to bang them. The drugs act as an “equalizer” so that skeevy degenerates can get kids to see them as less creepy than they are. Case in point:

SANTA ANA – A 32-year-old has admitted to having sex and smoking marijuana with a 12-year-old girl he met while playing basketball on a high school campus, prosecutors said.

Neftali Pena Procopio on Friday pleaded guilty to two felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 17, one felony count of furnishing marijuana to minor, as well as sentencing enhancements for having substantial sexual conduct with a child, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Procopio met the girl while playing basketball on the Santa Ana High School campus Aug. 16, 2010, and asked her to sneak out of her home to meet him later that night.

After picking the girl up at her Santa Ana residence, Procopio drove her to the 300 block of South Ross Street, where prosecutors say he provided marijuana that the two smoked and then had sex with the girl in the parked car.

A Santa Ana police officer who noticed the parked car and fogged windows arrested Procopio and took the girl home to her parents, who were unaware that she had left the house, authorities said.

Of course Procopio isn’t a anomaly. I rode by Coffee Underground the other day and saw someone in their 60s dressed like a teenager and making time with three strapping young barely legal bucks. The drug culture legitimizes inappropriate relationships between adults and children and drugs are frequently used to groom children for sex.

So what’s your point? There’s plenty of degenerate perverts who use alcohol for such a purpose, or even non-substance lures such as bikes and video games. A few rotten apples does not mean an entire culture is degenerate.
